Bal Bhavan is the brainchild of India’s first Prime Minister Late Pandit (Chacha) Jawaharlal Nehru. Chacha Nehru’s ideas behind launching this movement was to provide purposeful and meaningful outlet to children’s creative ad artistic skills inborn in them. The National Bal Bhavan movement in India was started on 1956 in New Delhi.
